Lovahhhh!!!!

I found myself doing a little blog hopping the other day and came across an interesting read. The author wrote about how she disliked using the word "lover", especially when speaking of her husband. She feels that the word can be considered dirty or bad. I personally enjoy using the word "lover", especially when speaking of my husband. I read once, in a book about marriage, that if a husband and wife will refer to each other as "lover" it will bring you closer. I know it sounds a bit silly, but I think it works :)

I sometimes update my facebook status by saying that I am going out with my lover. I am always referring to Ty. Why should the word not be used inside of marriage? Or anywhere else? Like when Carrie Bradshaw sees a pair of perfect shoes in a store window and says, "Hello Lover!"

It's just my opinion, but I don't think the word lover is all that bad. I think it is a great little word that adds a little spice to the everyday.
