Blondies!
These are the blondies that I was talking about in an earlier post. I made another batch today to go in the freezer for lunches next week!
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (or other nuts, I used pecans and almonds)
what to do:
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. butter a 9x9 inch pan.
3. whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.
4. Cream the butter with the brown sugar.
5. whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
6. add the flour and whisk until just incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips, and nuts and transfer the mixture to the prepared pan.
7.bake for 30-35 minutes.
8. remove to a wire rack and let cool completely.
