Swirls

It's June 1st!
My birthday month :)
I am celebrating with yet another amazing brownie recipe. This one combines peanut butter and chocolate. Swirls of joy really. My brownie baking tip of the day for you is to remove your brownies from the oven before a knife or toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Brownies will continue to cook and set as they cool. If you wait until your toothpick comes out clean your brownies will be overcooked.
Peanut Butter and Chocolate Marbled Brownies

6 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 stick butter
2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat your oven to 325 degrees

Begin melting your chocolate in a double boiler or in a glass bowl over simmering water.
While your chocolate is melting, cream the butter with the brown sugar. Add the peanut butter, eggs, and vanilla.
In a separate bowl; whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add flour mixture to the butter mixture.
Mix half of the prepared batter with the melted chocolate.
Layer peanut butter and chocolate brownie batter into a well greased 8x8 inch pan and swirl!
Bake for 25-30 minutes :)
