Ty and I discovered a great little theater in Banning. Movies are just $5 a person!

We went to see Thor on Saturday night.

It was pretty awesome. I would love to know where I can get one of those all powerful hammers.

Singing Time This Week

 This Sunday we are going to be building a giant ice cream cone in primary for singing time!

Each ice cream scoop has a song on the back of it.

The kids will get to pick out a scoop and stack it on the cone.

It should be a fun activity.

Wish we could use real ice cream!

Summer To Do's!

Max has 20 school days left until Summer Vacation! I am counting down the days to a few months of bliss!

I read a friend's blog post about summer to do lists and thought it was about time I made one for us. Here is what I came up with:

Happy Mother's Day

 It has been a great day for me so far!

Ty has been amazing. I love him so much! Max made me a special gift at school last week and this morning I got to open it. There were cards and dark chocolate.

I love having the opportunity to be a mom. I love my little ones. Here they all are after getting dressed for church today.

 I love Max. He is so smart and so much fun.

He is at a great age. He is a big helper to me too!

 Zack puts the rest of the family to shame in his cute little suit.

He was snacking on cheese nips and watching Blue's Clues so he couldn't really be bothered with me.

 I love this little man!

 Here is my beautiful little miss Mia.

She is the perfect little girl.

You can argue all you like, but I will never change my mind about her!

Now we are off to church where I am going to attempt to lead the primary in singing Mother's Day songs they hardly know in sacrament meeting!

A Mother's Day

It has been a wonderful Saturday!

Ty had to work so I took the kids to Redlands to visit my parents and play for the day. We spent the morning picking strawberries and sweet peas. Nothing is better than fresh fruits and veggies from the garden! Mia and Zackary fed the fish. Zackary loves to see the little fish swim to the surface to eat. He gets so excited! Poor little guy needs a puppy!

We went for a walk with the Barbie Jeep Power Wheel that my mom picked up in her travels. There is nothing cuter than Max driving along with little Mia sitting happily as a passenger.

My mom and I went to Trader Joe's to buy Mother's Day goodies for the Grandmas. We picked out little cakes and chocolates, fancy canned fruit and cheese. I haven't been to Trader Joe's since we moved so I was able to stock up on some favorites as well. We came home and made beautiful Mother's Day baskets to give.

The kids went for a swim while I packed up the car.

It was such a nice visit. The perfect precursor to my Mother's Day! I was glad to spend it with my kids and my mom. Nothing makes a day better than doing fun things with the people you love!

Tonight I am getting ready for music time tomorrow and putting off cleaning my bathrooms!

Maybe tomorrow someone will bring me breakfast in bed, or maybe if I make everyone breakfast I can sit down in my bed and pretend someone brought it to me!

Either way it's Mother's Day weekend. I have a great mom. I am trying to be a great mom. There is reason to celebrate. Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day!

The kids and I have been crafting away all afternoon! We are getting excited for the weekend and celebrating with some great women in our lives!

I wish we had a few more days to get ready. The hours are flying by and there is still a lot to get done before Sunday! I hope everyone has had a great week!

Cinco De Mayo

As I mentioned before, I have been sick, but today I am determined to feel better!

I have done lots of sitting around and the web is buzzing with Cinco De Mayo recipes and ideas!

I picked a couple of favorites and I am planning a little celebration for this evening.

Sick

I've been sick.

That's all there is to say about the lack of posts and information lately. I was able to get to the doctor today and get some meds so I am hoping to be back on my feet soon!

I know my kids and my laundry piles miss me!
